Cinemark
The recent menu refresh for Cinemark was all about building a library of assets that could balance function and crave in equal measure. The ask was to create a systemized visual approach that felt consistent and scalable, while still delivering imagery with personality and appetite appeal.
A huge part of what made the project exciting was the trust and collaboration from the Cinemark creative team, who consistently pushed the work beyond the traditional “safe” boundaries that menu photography can sometimes fall into. There was a shared goal from the beginning to create something functional, but with a stronger sense of atmosphere, texture, and style.
For the core menu assets, we leaned into seamless environments that did the heavy lifting, but approached them with a little more depth and intention than your typical seamless setup. Directional lighting, texture, and subtle environmental shaping helped the food feel elevated without losing the clean utility the library required.
Those graphic food moments were paired with lifestyle imagery designed to feel experiential and cinematic. Rich textures, practical-inspired lighting, and environments influenced by the architecture of the auditorium itself helped tie everything back to the theater experience without feeling overly staged. The result was a flexible library built for scale, but still grounded in atmosphere, energy, and crave.
